Founder of Brave.is
Daniel Chua is a catalyst and an initiator who has founded several ministries and organizations which include a youth group, pastors’ network, a local church in Singapore and a grant advisory firm.
How did you get started setting up brave.is?
I realized that the world is changed by risk-taking entrepreneurs. The same can be said of the church and God’s Kingdom – those who can see beyond the horizon and dream of a greater possibility than present reality. People who go beyond their comfort zones to challenge the status quo (and what is considered “normal”) in their respective spheres of influence.
Brave is started for that reason – to tell the stories of these people and to inspire the rest of us to live in this way. My prayer is that we can instigate a movement of game-changers, Kingdom warriors and champions who will leave a mark in the world.
What was the bravest decision you’ve made?
The bravest decision I made was to marry Joy. Life has been an adventure since then. She is a champion and a fierce warrior who fights for what she believes. She challenges me to become the best version of myself. For that, I am eternally grateful.
What are three things people don’t know about you?
Three things people may not know about me –
(1) My mother is a twin
(2) I was a member of the Science Club in Primary School
(3) I cried watching “Pretty Woman”.
